Neuropsychotherapy
For change to occur, we must resource the nervous system in a healthy way to process emotions and feel safe in our bodies. Culturally many of us have been taught to process emotions cognitively and with rationalizing the 'why' of events. However, this doesn't calm our nervous system; in fact, where this way of coping may have served us well at one point in our lives, it may now make the struggle to manage overwhelming emotions harder. Therapies like somatic awareness and brainspotting help to create new neural pathways to feel safe and change how we made meaning of events and core wounding.
We believe change occurs when we allow the body to communicate implicit understanding and meaning-making in ways that verbal, linguistic, external processes cannot reach. If you want to understand the ‘why,’ use your mind. If you want to heal, go to the body.

Stephanie/$140 session
As a certified poylvagal therapist, Stephanie is trauma-competent and trained Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP). She is well-versed in the complexities of identity development, particularly in twin identity development, as well as in addiction, family and relational dynamics, childhood trauma, domestic violence, emotion regulation, somatic experiences, and grief. Her approach is grounded in attachment theory and nervous system regulation, incorporating somatic, body-based techniques for release of stored trauma and unprocessed emotions, while also using a culturally sensitive perspective to deeply understand and support her clients.
Rooted in emotional scaffolding, attachment theory, and polyvagal-informed care, Stephanie’s work is grounded in the belief that healing doesn’t begin with words—it begins with safety. She integrates inner child work, somatic attunement, and nervous system mapping, honoring the reality that the body often tells the story long before the mind is ready to speak. She incorporates movement and posturing as somatic responses to repair ruptures during unmet developmental needs — using guided drawing, body-based exploration, and nervous system-informed education and interventions to help clients not only understand their story, but physically re-pattern the ways they’ve learned to protect, disconnect, or perform. Developmental disruption leaves a somatic imprint, and through gentle embodiment practices, we begin the process of returning to safety, connection, and authentic expression.

Alyssa/$100 session
Alyssa is a master’s level therapist in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a certified polyvagal practitioner. Her approach is rooted in the belief that healing unfolds through safety, attunement, and reconnection—with self, with body, and with meaning. Guided by polyvagal theory, attachment science, and somatic awareness, Alyssa helps clients gently access their inner resilience and begin to transform long-held emotional patterns.
Through a blend of Emotionally Focused Therapy and nervous system-informed techniques, Alyssa supports clients in building embodied safety, allowing emotions to be felt—not feared. Her work honors how early relationships shape our regulation, self-perception, and capacity for connection, and she offers a steady, compassionate presence as clients begin to rewrite those internal templates.
Rather than bypassing or managing feelings, Alyssa helps clients be with their emotional experience—tending to it with curiosity and containment. With gentle somatic tracking, movement, and grounded presence, clients learn to release stored survival responses and come home to themselves with greater agency and compassion.
Alyssa specializes in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and substance abuse. She offers affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients and holds particular space for those navigating attachment wounds, identity confusion, nervous system dysregulation, and developmental trauma. Her work invites clients back into wholeness—where inner wisdom is not only remembered, but trusted.

Mo Stone | $75 session
MASTERS LEVEL INTERN
Mo works well with people who have been told they’re difficult, intense, or hard to understand — including neurodivergent clients and others who have felt dropped, dismissed, or unseen in traditional spaces. For Mo, therapy is where raw honesty meets acceptance, and where clients don’t have to apologize for the depth, complexity, or uniqueness of who they are.Guided by both her professional training and her own lived insight, Mo leans in where others might back away. She is attuned to the realities of overwhelming emotions, relentless self-criticism, addiction, and the turbulence of relationships. She also recognizes the ways neurodivergent clients are often misunderstood or pressured to conform, and she values creating a space where their differences are honored as part of their full story. Mo respects the strategies her clients have used to survive, even when those strategies have come at a cost, and she brings a grounded, steady presence to the storm. With her, clients can expect not to be tamed or silenced, but to be met fully — intensity, neurodivergence, contradictions, and all — with curiosity and respect.

Jessie Meehan | $75 session
MASTERS LEVEL INTERN
Jessie is an intern in her second year of her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She believes in the ability of people to shift their circumstances or beliefs about their struggles and discover ways of coping that allow them to live more authentically and with more joy. Jessie is particularly interested in working with teens and individuals navigating life changes or transitions, as well as clients experiencing anxiety, depression, or grief. She views beginning the healing process through counseling as a brave step toward overall wellness.
Jessie incorporates therapeutic approaches from existential, Adlerian, and humanistic perspectives, drawing on her interest in existential concepts and theory. She views counseling through a holistic lens, considering the many factors that shape a client’s life. Through the use of mindfulness, grounding practices, and somatic techniques, Jessie supports clients in becoming more attuned to their body and emotions, creating clarity in how they process experiences and trauma.
She also values expression as an important component of mental health. With a background in the arts, Jessie integrates creative outlets such as art and storytelling into therapy as ways of deepening connection, insight, and resilience. She has experience working with neurodivergent populations, building unique relationships and encouraging confidence and self-reliance. In addition, her background in child protective services has given her perspective on working with children and families within the context of trauma. A priority in her work is creating a space that is nurturing and safe for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

Lindsay Preston | $75 session
MASTERS LEVEL INTERN

Drawing from an integrative framework grounded in presence and somatic awareness, Lindsay focuses on listening to what the body is saying and co-creating a therapeutic space that is collaborative, intentional, and supportive. Her aim is to help clients reconnect with their inner teacher and navigate healing in a way that feels both grounded and empowering.
