Space to figure out what feels like you.

Maybe you’ve gotten used to questioning your feelings, keeping your needs to yourself, or adjusting who you are depending on who’s around. You might recognize patterns you want to change and still struggle to understand what happens when emotions take over—or when you can’t seem to feel much at all.

Cassie offers a warm, grounded space to explore those experiences with gentle curiosity. She works with people who want to feel more connected to their emotions, their bodies, their relationships, and their sense of self. Together, you can begin noticing what you feel, understanding what you need, and finding ways to express yourself that feel authentic.

What working with Cassie feels like

You don’t have to arrive knowing exactly what to say. Cassie makes room for uncertainty, reflection, and the time it takes to put an experience into words. She pays attention to your comfort, emotional capacity, and pace, allowing the relationship to develop without pressure to disclose more than you’re ready to share.

Her approach considers how early relationships, learned patterns, and past experiences influence how you see yourself and connect with others today. Sessions may explore self-image, emotional expression, relationship patterns, or the physical signals that accompany stress and disconnection. Your experiences and feedback help shape the work.

Cassie’s practice is neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming. She welcomes the complexity of individual experiences and supports clients in exploring identity, needs, and expression with openness and respect.

A little about Cassie outside the therapy room

Cassie is a stained-glass artist, fantasy reader, and rainy-day enthusiast. Her interests range from The Priory of the Orange Tree to finding a great meal, camping, and spending time with her dog and two cats. She also keeps more than 20 houseplants alive—a detail that deserves its own mention.

Portland, Oregon, is a favorite travel destination, with plenty of food, breweries, and electric-scooter adventures to keep her occupied. And yes, her love of Twilight includes a photo at the “Welcome to Forks” sign.

Training & supervision

Cassie is completing her clinical mental health counseling training at Austin Peay State University under the active supervision of Stephanie Anderson, LPC-MHSP. She works with children, adolescents, and adults, with a particular interest in supporting young people as they develop their sense of self, navigate relationships, and learn to recognize and express their needs. Her previous experience in child welfare helped shape her desire to offer children and teens a consistent, welcoming space where their perspectives matter and they can build trust at their own pace.
