Alyssa accepts self-pay clients only, at this time. She is able to provide a superbill for possible insurance reimbursement. Her rate is $100/session. She may be able to offer a sliding scale, as well.
Alyssa is a provisionally licensed LPC-MHSP and a certified Polyvagal Practitioner at Soul’s Alchemy who brings a calm, steady, and deeply attuned presence into the therapy space. Clients often experience her as grounding and compassionate—someone who helps them feel safer in their body and emotions without pressure or overwhelm.
Her work centers on the belief that healing happens through safety, attunement, and reconnection—with self, with body, and with meaning. Alyssa works especially well with clients whose nervous systems have learned to stay on high alert or shut down in response to earlier relationships or life experiences. She offers a consistent relational space where emotions can be felt, understood, and integrated rather than avoided or managed away.
Alyssa helps clients explore how early attachment experiences shaped their sense of safety, self-worth, and capacity for connection. She is particularly skilled at supporting clients who feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to trust their inner experience. Her presence is containing and gentle, allowing clients to move at a pace that feels respectful and sustainable.
Rather than asking clients to push through or control their emotions, Alyssa supports them in being with what arises—meeting emotional experiences with curiosity, compassion, and grounded awareness. Through careful somatic tracking, subtle movement, and nervous system-informed support, clients learn to release stored survival responses and develop a greater sense of agency and self-trust.
Alyssa works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and substance use concerns. She provides affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients and is especially attuned to those working through attachment wounds, identity confusion, developmental trauma, and nervous system dysregulation. Therapy with Alyssa invites a gradual return to wholeness—where inner wisdom is not rushed, but remembered and trusted. Her clients have shared that therapy feels like being with a friend (with professional boundary, of course)—where all parts of selves belong. She brings laughter, insight, connection, and emotional space. Bring her the tea!
